Back Zacc to edge out old foe Hodgson

March 11th BY Markmc

Fulham coach Roy Hodgson has already claimed the psychological edge over his Juventus counterpart Alberto Zaccheroni ahead of tonight's Europa League last-16 clash in the Stadio Olimpico - having enjoyed the better of their battles while in Serie A. Hodgson had three spells in Italy - managing Inter Milan (twice) and Udinese. During his time at Inter he won three times and drew once against Zaccheroni's Udinese. However the current Juve coach did manage one win against the Englishman - when his Lazio claimed a 4-1 win over Hodgson's Udinese in 2001. Meath's luste dimming in bookies' eyes

March 11th BY Kegan

Being honest, ever since the results from last week, Off the Ground was keeping an eye out for one fixture out of this weekend's football matches that dripped with the potential for good value. Stoke look to bounce back at Burnley after tamest of cup exits

March 9th BY Emmet

Rather like me, Stoke head into the midweek programme looking to shake off a bit of a hangover from the weekend. I got stung by a foolish estimation that Manchester United would continue to score goals by the hatful at Wolves as well as surprises at West Ham and Wigan..

Irish sweep

March 8th BY Donn

We’ll win the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle anyway, that’s for sure. Sure isn’t Dunguib the best novice to put his head through a bridle since Golden Cygnet? Don’t mind about his jumping, it’s only the English saying he can’t jump, trying to convince themselves, and he won’t have to..
