Kevin graduated from UCD in 1999 with a degree in Actuarial Studies, before going to work as a compiler for Paddy Powers, leading the new wave of mathematical graduates in odds compiling. Five years with Paddy Power bookmakers pricing GAA, other sports and in play betting were followed by time with Sports Interaction, Unibet and subsequently Ladbrokes as Head of Irish Sports. In recent years he has moved in between the worlds of sports betting and sports journalism, working for the Offaly Independent and also appearing in various other local and national publications, as well as several sports and GAA websites. Having played club football in Dublin, London and Galway, he has returned to his home club of Ferbane and can be seen chasing both footballs and his lost youth in the Offaly Junior C Championship, proving that betting on and playing a sport are two totally different talents!
